Nottingham Medics History

Nottingham Medics RUFC is a well established club who have a strong history in the National Medics (NAMS) cup. This year, in addition to NAMS, we have branched out to become members of the Midlands Pennant League playing against local club sides. The introduction of competitive matches each week should help raise the intensity of training and help maintain motivation throughout the year; something that may have been lacking in previous seasons. In addition we are looking to strengthen our squad and extend a welcoming hand to anyone that is interested in joining us.
This year we have made a bold move to leave the university grounds at Highfields and play and train at Nottingham Casuals RUFC. This was largely a result of weather-related cancellations of matches and training which saw both suffer heavily during the winter of last season. Casuals have already been magnificent in helping us hold the very successful Royal Navy sponsored NAMS 7's competition in 2004 and 2005 and, as a committee, we hope that this recent move is the start of a strong and lengthy relationship between our two clubs.
