Once again, the students proved to be too fit and agile for the alumni, whose superior close-play was nullified by the students spinning the ball into open spaces that were mere memories for most of the players. But next year......

Notes:

 In order to allow easy planning the decision was taken a few years ago to link the weekend to the date of Remembrance Sunday.

So for the year 2002 the Alumni match will take place at Moderns RFC over the weekend of 9th -10th November, the first game kicking-off at 1200 noon. Following further discussion we are investigating the possibility of playing the game on Saturday followed by the ball. Please let us have your comments.

The Annual Dinner will take place at the traditional venue of The George Hotel  (now known as Quality Hotel George, Nottingham) at the traditional time of 1900 for 1930hrs.
